Didsbury House Hotel Wedding Photography

When thinking of a wedding destination in South Manchester, Didsbury House Hotel has to be right up there! Not only is it only a mile down the road from where I love but it also happens to be in my top 5 locations. It really is somewhere special. A stunning victorian townhouse which has been sympathetically converted into a boutique hotel offering a home from home experience.

Therefore, when Rachel and Anthony asked me to then capture their big day, I was obviously delighted and jumped at the opportunity. What's awesome about Rachel and Anthony is how genuine they are and how much time they have for friends and family. Their personalities made the day a joy and were always up for doing something different to capture something awesome.

A warm, welcoming and fun ceremony was followed by a location shoot on the stairs. As Anthony wanted a "Godfather" style shoot we got creative with off camera flash to add a dynamic edge to the images. They must have thought we were nuts hanging off the banisters to create the perfect image!

With Didsbury House having a twin hotel 200 metres down the road it was the obvious choice to hold the reception. Flooded with personal details and an array of cakes, friends and family enjoyed a BBQ on the secluded lawn followed by speeches. All I'll say is one day, Anthony, you will get that Range Rover!
