Erin and Tom are an extroverted, eccentric couple so I was delighted when they asked me to be their chosen wedding photographer as I new their day would be full of creative events. This certainly turned out to be the case. It included a trip up a mountain, tipi reception, archery, fire pits, slack lines and a home made bar. If the wind had been on our side we'd have had a hot air ballon too.
As they're both from Llantystilio they decided to hold the whole day within the foothills of this incredible location. We started by heading up a mountain in their back garden for a location shoot before a neighbour who owns a vintage Morris Minor picked up Erin and her Mum for the short trip to Llantstilio Church where we witnessed an intimate ceremony with close family and friends.
With Llantystilio Church sitting on the bank of a river we headed down the narrow footpath to the waters edge for a location shoot before everybody piled back into their cars, camper vans in order to get back to Tom's parents house for the reception and to try Tom's hand crafted ale which he and his brother created on his stag. It was ace!
Huge congratulations to Erin, Tom and their friends for creating an adventure playground for adults as a reception location. They hand built two bars from scratch, put up slack lines, archery lanes, had friends comes with a pizza oven on the back of an old vw estate and created more details than I can begin to explain. It was awesome. Speeches followed in the Tipi before a long anticipated first dance.
What a day, what a wedding and what a couple! Love to you both.
