First time shooting a Wedding at the Manchester Town Hall and what a privilege it was to not only witness Jane & Phil tie the knot after 17 years but being given complete creative freedom to capture the day as I saw.. Manchester's Architecture is spellbinding generally but the Manchester Town is certainly a jewel in the crown! Incorporating that into the backdrops was my main objective!
After a beautiful ceremony in front of friends and family the congregation all headed outside to Alberts Square to cover Jane & Phil in bucket loads of Confetti which was amusing for all before Jane seeked her revenge by throwing the highest bouquet of flowers I've seen in my career to date! Big congrats to the catcher...
By now alcohol was a topic of conversation! As a result everybody began the planned parade through town up to Tibb Street Tavern where Phil's friend and owner closed out the venue for them and put on a champagne arrival. Food / Speeches followed before Jane & Phil enjoyed their first dance together to a song from Resovoir Dogs... Awesome!
So grateful you chose me as your Photographer! I know you don't need it after 17 years together already, but here's wishing you everlasting happiness.
